There was initially a strong natural wool smell which I wasn't expecting. The smell of lanolin. A delicate wash and a few days later it's almost gone. The pillow got a lot lower after washing, but I was expecting that and it actually works better for me. I was sent a defective one (some yellowing and loose threads), asked customer service about it and they immediate apologized saying it shouldn't be like that and sent me a new one. Didn't even need to sent the defective back! So hopefully if it doesn't fall apart I have 2 very comfortable natural wool pillows! I know people say that you don't need to wash pillows, but honestly I don't trust a thin piece of fabric to block 100% of bacterial, oil, contaminants etc. so finding a natural, inexpensive and Aussie made washable pillow has been a great change. Highly recommended!

Lovely quality. Softer than I expected. I also thought it would be thinner - I would say it is LOW to MED.
I bought a low pillow, a medium pillow and two pillow protectors. Firstly, I was very pleased with the prompt delivery a few days later. The low pillow is perfect for sleeping, the medium is great for reading. Any higher would be too high for me. The protectors were easy to fit and I am very happy with my purchase, thank you
Good pillow. It is a bit flat for me. Finding it hard to find a happy medium. Might try the medium wool pillow. Good quality though. Like a soft pillow.
